Newcomer Resources & Support
Welcome. If you’re concerned about your relationship with food, you’re not alone. Overeaters Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share experience, strength, and hope as they seek recovery from compulsive eating. Anyone who struggles with food obsession is welcome—regardless of weight or eating patterns. Many newcomers find that attending meetings—whether in person, online, or by phone—is a helpful first step. Because meetings vary, exploring a few can help you find a place where you feel comfortable and supported. All OA meetings are open to newcomers.
